Flowers have always been deeply rooted in my life. Some of my last memories I have of my grandmother are us walking around her yard looking at her flowers, more specifically snapdragons. She showed me the special surprise of what happens if you gently squeeze the sides together. Every year I always make sure we have snapdragons and every year I get to relive that memory that I so deeply cherish. If you think about it, flowers commonly go hand in hand with memories. Think of weddings, celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, and even the small moments of everyday life. Flowers have the power to make you feel special, loved, supported, and tranquil. They awaken the senses with their beauty, smell, touch, and even taste.

SH Stems was created simply on what was once a dream turned into reality. I have found enjoyment when working with flowers, from making all of the florals at my wedding to always ensuring we have fresh flowers in our home. In the back of my mind I have always had this dream to grow my very own cut garden. There is nothing is better than seeing the beauty of life created from tiny little seedlings. My hope for SH Stems is to cultivate memories and create magical feelings that flowers have the power to produce.
